Chiming Bells in Norfolk

We have recently rehung two chiming bells in the Norfolk Villages of Ringstead and Wickmere. Both bells have been rehung with traditional style fittings - Ringsted for stationary chiming and Wickmere for Swing Chiming. 

The Ringstead bell, cast by Edward Tooke in 1676.

The Wickmere bell, cast (in steel) by Vickers and Sons of Sheffield in 1868. 

This bell was shot blast cleaned and coated with wax oil.
